Scope and Content Part of the collection of images, 1906-1910 and 1924-1927, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Sparta, (various years' digs). Six Bronze statuettes: Acropolis: One is a sphinx, one a fluta player".
Notes Latest date is based on the publication of the bronzes in the 1927 excavation report.
