The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Kamares vases BSA excavations 1913". The drawing was possibly done by R.M. Dawkins or J.P. Droop. Listed as a Colour Slide in the SPHS negative register (A series), but the negative is black and white.
Notes Date based on the excavation date of the Kamares Cave and the publication of the image. The A series of negatives were created for colour slides produced from a colour drawings, but the extant negatives marked in the A series are black and white.

The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ142 as "M.M. polychrome: daisy-vase, coloured slide". The Oxford colour slides were said to have been made using the Sanger Shepherd Process.
