Notes Hand-written text on the negative below the photograph: "The further of the two towers in No. 44, showing the entrance to the fort of Eetionea. Tower 16 ft. high, 30 ft. diameter; usual stones 4ft. 3 by 3ft. 2 with an intermediate large 5ft. 6 projecting." On the bottom of the photograph is printed "PIR 3" which may mean this is an English Photographic Company commercial photograph.
