Scope and Content Part of a group of images from the British School at Athens excavations at Palaikastro, Crete in the 1902-1905. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Palaikastro: jug with floral design".
Notes Described on p. 287 of BSA IX as an oinochoe decorated with a papyrus motif. The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ176 as "L.M.II jug, papyrus ornament: Palaikastro".
