| Scope and Content | The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Alpheios immediately below bridge under Carytena". |
| Notes | Part of a group of over 1,000 photographs donated by Mr. Shirley C. Atchley in 1921 (JHS 1922).Therefore, if the specific date is not listed in the register, the images cannot have been produced later than 1921. The river which flows under the Karitina bridge is the Lousios which empties into the Alpheios at the Lousios gorge. The image appears to be a reverse view of BSA SPHS 01/5964.C1757 (see related record). |
