Notes Latest date based on mention of Burrow's recent investigations on Crete in 'Proceedings of the Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies' Journal of Hellenic Studies 27 (1907) p. lv. Also, Burrows' 1907 book: The Discoveries in Crete and their Bearing on the History of Ancient Civilisation. Incorrectly listed in both the 1900 and 1902 JHS catalogues as Mycenae.
