Scope and Content Part of a collection of images of the BSA's 1920s excavations at Mycenae. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Mycenae: Tomb 518, long gem; lion regardant; peacock; wounded bull, Sicyon like dove; birds". Recorded in the register as from the 1922 season.
Notes Date is the year listed in the description of the image in the SPHS register. See pl. XXXVIII (top) Wace 1932 (Chamber tombs at Mycenae, vol. 82 of Archaeologia) for a drawing of the sealstones, including profiles. Number 62 (middle left in this image), 66 (middle right), 65 (middle centre), 61 (top), 64 (bottom right) and 63 (bottom left). They are said to come from Tomb 518.
