Scope and Content Part of the collection of images, 1906-1910, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Sparta: (a) marble head of Pan, (b) incised design, limestone".
Notes Earliest date is based on the marble head being found in 1908 while trenching along the Late Roman wall near the South tower and latest date on the last season of excavation at Sparta.
