Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Cnossos: Script: Clay tables, linear. (833.59) (B.S.A. VI pl. I)".
Notes Date based on the publication listed in the caption although the plate shows a photograph of tablets, not a drawing. It also appears as negative number 3807 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Script: Linear tables 833.59 (cf. MR 1901, p. 128 fig. 9)". Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ308 as "Knossos tablets, with linear script".
