Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Cnossos: Throne room: from antechamber (B.S.A. VI fig. 8)".
Notes Date based on the publication of the image in the 1900 excavation report in the BSA although this image is taken from the 1901 Monthly Review. The photographer may have been J.L. Myres as it appears as negative number 3815 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Throne Room from Ante Chamber (MR 1901 p. 123 fig. 5; BSA VI fig. 8)". The number printed on the photograph (173) which also appears in the Myres negative register caption corresponds to numbers on photographs of Knossos in Evans' archive in Oxford.
