Scope and Content Part of the collection of images from the 1936 Exhibition of Minoan Civilization and the first 50 years work of the BSA at Burlington House, London. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "MM IIIa fresco from Knossos 'The ladies in blue'".
Notes Date is the year listed in the description of the image in the SPHS register. The image was created from an earlier image, specifically for the 1936 Exhibition. Printed on the negative: "Ladies in blue: toilette scene were much in vogue at the palace in this epoch. 17th century BC".
