Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS Catalogue reads: "Cnossus: Workmen with wheelbarrows above excavation dump".
Notes Earliest date based on the first year of excavation at Knossos. The number 312 is printed in the lower left of the print, probably corresponding to the Evans archive in the Ashmolean, Oxford. It also appears as negative number 5235 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Knossos: Workmen on dump at S.W. corner (312)".
