| Scope and Content | Card base with one image in the centre. The number 153 is pasted in the lower left corner. In the lower right corner is a later annotation in pencil giving a bibliographic reference. The original description in the catalogue reads: "Fragment of the mane of a lion in poros limestone, gaily coloured: probably from the pediment of the Later Temple, which may have been decorated by a group of two lions arranged as on the limestone reliefs, 152b." |
