384: General View Towards the Director's House

Scope and Content Fragment of card base with one black and white photograph attached. Base in constructed of two pieces of card, joined horizontally at roughly the centre of the photograph. The number 384 is pasted in the centre below the image. To the right of this is written in pencil "u/p." The original description in the catalogue reads: "General view towards the Director's House from below: taken about 1905 before the olive-yard was turned into a garden."
Notes This was originally part of a larger panel which had attached numbers 383-389, as can be seen in BSA SPHS 01/6830.C6839. This fragment of the base is the only part that survives. In the Exhibition Catalogue this is under the subheading "The British School of Archaeology at Athens"
