| Scope and Content | BRF 01/01/04/171. Watercolour painting of four saints, two 'standing' on each short edge with their heads in the centre, with descriptors naming them painted beside them. There is a later brown card frame around the image, with a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp, with the original archive number written in, in the lower right corner. The original description in the catalogue reads: "In vault of arch to Diakonikon: SS. Hierotheos, Gregory of Nysa, Theophilos, and Dionysios the Areopagite." |
