Scope and Content BRF 02/01/14/010. One mounted black and white photograph of the exterior of a church. '238' in the lower right corner. The reverse reads "Mistra Pantanassa" and in a different hand "Ext. from North-east." The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of the Pantanassa. - This church, which still belongs to a Nunnery, was completed in 1446. It is of the same unusual type as the Efenfiko and the Metropolis. It is richly decorated with frescoes, partly contemporary, partly later. 494. Photographs: exterior from north-east; exterior west-end. Fresco in narthex: the portrait is identified as that of Manuel Lascaris Chatzikis."
Notes The other photograph under this exhibition number ("exterior west-end") is missing; it might be the image depicted on BRF 02/01/14/013, however this is not mounted in the same way that the other photographs verified as being part of the exhibition are.
