| Scope and Content | BRF 01/01/15/017. Ink illustration of the section of a church, including some of the wall decoration, titled beneath "Section looking east." Beneath that are two scale bars, one in feet and one in metres. To the right is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp with the original archive number written in. There are some further pencil annotations along the lower edge and in the upper corners: the upper right corner reads "No 7." The original description in the catalogue reads: "The church of the Zoodokos Pegé. - It seems to be dated in the 11th century, probably near the end. The drawings are the work of R. S. Weir and S. H. Barnsley. 508. Section looking east." |
