| Scope and Content | BRF 01/01/07/091. Watercolour painting on board showing a circle with the ascension in the centre and fifteen figures standing around the edges, divided by plants. "No 2." is written in gold in the lower left corner and W.H. 1908" in the lower right. In the lower right is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp with the original archive number written in. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of St. Sophia. - 530-33. Mosaics: 532, Mosaics of dome." |
