| Scope and Content | Thanking Hilda for a donation of [John’s] books to the Villa Ariadne (Knossos), and discussing a planned retrospect of John’s work for the Annual [of the British School at Athens]. Myers also mentions that he did not know John well, praises the usefulness of ‘The Archaeology of Crete’, and says that he would like to look at the books in Cambridge (Hilda was to store the books in Cambridge until the British School could arrange for them to be taken to Knossos). |
