Scope and Content | Part of a collection of images of the BSA's 1920s excavations at Mycenae. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Bronze mirror from grave in dromos of tomb of Clytemnestra". |
Notes | Date is based on excavations at Mycenae. The Bronze mirror was excavated in the dromos of the tomb of Clytemnestra by Tsountas and is now in the the Athens National Museum. SPHS C.859 shows the detail of the decoration carved on the ivory handle. |
