Scope and Content Part of a collection of images of from Wace, Droop & Thompson's excavations at the site of Zerelia in 1908. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Thessaly: Zerelia, early red on white ware".
Notes Date based on Wace & Thompson's excavations at the site of Zerelia. All of the sherds are on the figure in Prehistoric Thessaly, although not in the same position as this photograph. The earlier publication (in the Liverpool Annals of Archaeology and Anthropology) only shows a few of the sherds. The sherd drawings (in colour) appear on panel 309 of the 1936 Exhibition of the work of the BSA at Burlington House, London.
