The latest date based on the historical drawing of the boundary between Greece (Epirus) and Albania. Part of a group of over 1,000 photographs donated by Mr. Shirley C. Atchley in 1921 (JHS 1922) categorised by him as Epirus. Note: appropriation of the area by the Greeks during the Balkan Wars, then to became the Autonomous Republic of Northern Epirus in 1913. However, the area continued to be referred to as Northern Epirus after incorporation with the Albanian state. |
