Scope and Content | The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Temple of Corinth with Akrocorinthos, from south". |
Notes | Date unknown, but quite possibly no earlier than 1890 when Thacher Clarke is said to have been a contributor to the SPHS photographic collection and no later than 1902 when J. Thacher Clarke's list of enlargements published in the Journal of Hellenic Studies. Given the mention of Acrocorinth in the original caption of the SPHS register, this may possibly be J. Thacher Clark's enlargement No. 1: "Acrocorinthos and Ruins of Temple" (Hellenic Society, 1902. ‘Second List of Additions to the Collection of Lantern Slides, 1900-1902’ JHS 22:li). |
