| Scope and Content | Part of a group of images from explorations and excavations on the island of Melos conducted by the British School at Athens from 1896 to 1899. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Phylakopi: fig. 50. View of top step of Portico & Plinth of anta of Palace". |
| Notes | The dates are based on the excavation seasons at Phylakopi, although it must date prior to 1904 when it appears in the site publication. The image in Atkinson et al. (fig. 50) is not the exact same images, but the published one show a figure in the middle distance, more skyline and two figures at the top. Number 90 printed on the negative. |
