Scope and Content |
Part of the collection of images of the British School at Athens excavations at Kamares Cave, Crete in 1913. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Kamares vases BSA excavations 1913". The drawing was possibly done by J.P. Droop. Listed as a Colour Slide in the SPHS negative register (A series), but the negative is black and white. |

Earliest date based on the excavation of the Kamares Cave and the latest date from its entry in the 1917 slide catalogue. The A series of negatives were created for colour slides produced from a colour drawings, but the extant negatives marked in the A series are black and white. |
