Scope and Content Part of the collection of images, 1906-1910, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Spartan ivory: throned figure recieving 3 votaries".
Notes Date range is based on the beginning of the excavations at Sparta and the publication of the image in the slide accession list. Both sides of this ivory comb seen in BSA SPHS 01/4074.8278 (see related record).
