BRF 01/01/07/200. Ink illustration of a section of a church, including detail of decoration within the dome. Titled at the top "Church of Saint George: Thessalonica", and below the illustration "Longitudinal section." "No. 3" is written in the upper right corner. There is a scale bar for metres in the lower left corner and one of feet in the lower right corner. Above the right scale bar is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp with the original archive number written in. There are several ink annotations on the illustration, and a pencil annotation at the bottom. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The church of St. George. - 522-3. Sections: 523, longitudinal." |
