| Scope and Content | BRF 01/01/07/073. Two ink illustrations showing cross sections of a church. Titled at the top "Church of S. Sophia: Thessalonica. No. 5.", with "Cross section thro' narthex looking south east" written below the upper illustration and "Cross section thro' narthex looking north west" below the lower illustration. There are two scale bars, one for feet and one for metres, in the lower centre. To the right of these is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp with the original archive number written in. Some annotations and drawing in pencil. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of St. Sophia. - 528-9. Cross-sections: 528, Narthex, looking south-east and north-west." |
