Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Cnossos: Throne room: antechamber from N. entrance (B.S.A. VI fig. 7)".
Notes Date based on the publication of the image in the 1900 excavation report in the BSA although this image is taken from the 1901 Monthly Review. The photographer may have been J.L. Myres as it appears as negative number 3814 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Throne Room: Ante Chamber fr. N. Entrance (MR p. 122, fig. 4; BSA VI fig. 7)". The image is similar to fig. 7 in Arthur J. Evans, 1899/1900. "Knossos. Summary Report of the Excavations in 1900: I. The Palace" BSA 6:3-70. However, fig. 7 has a different set of captions.
