Notes | Date based on the first year of excavation at Knossos when Myres was present. The initials JLM is written on the negative indicating that the photograph may have been taken by Myres. It also appears as negative number 3831 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Myk. vase fragments". Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ65 and XJ66 (duplicate slides) as "L.M. painted fragments, Knossos". |
