Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Cnossos: Clay sealings".
Notes Date based on the first year of excavation at Knossos when Myres was present. The initials JLM is written on the negative indicating that the photograph may have been taken by Myres. Number 107 is written above the print may relate to numbers in the Evans archive in the Ashmolean, Oxford. It also appears as negative number 3844 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Clay impressions of Myk. seals". Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ233 and XJ234 (duplicate slides) as "Gold gems: impressions, Knossos".
