| Notes | Date attributed to the year in which Hogarth, Yorke and others to explore the Euphrates - see A Wandering Scholar in the Levant 1896 and York in 1896 Geographical Journal 8(5): 453-472. SPHS Register lists both Hogarth and Munro as donors, although it is clear that this was taken on the 1894 expedition up the Euphrates when Hogarth was with Yorke and others, not Munro. |
