Scope and Content Written from St George’s School, Broadstairs, Kent. Giving Lilian news of his friends at school (Tubby, Ponty and Douglas); telling her that he had been tidying up his Meccano and they had just finished [reading] ‘A Boyscout in the Balkans’; and asking how Nanny was, and to tell [Herbert Pendlebury] that he had been learning Greek. Also includes a small map of Europe drawn from memory, and a press cutting of an advertisement for a toy tank.
