The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Bone pit". |
| Notes |
The image of this 'bone pit' does not appear to be ancient. It was listed in the SPHS register immediately after Hasluck's images of his 1905 activity in Laconia and 1906 visit to Tirilye, and immediately before his 1907 images of the Marmara Islands. The ossuary could be located in any of these places and probably dates from 1905 to 1907. |
