Scope and Content BRF 01/01/14/116. Two ink illustrations, the upper titled "North Elevation" and the lower titled "Section looking towards west end." In the top left corner is written in pencil "Mistra Church of S. Sophia." At the bottom are two scale bars, one in feet and one in metres. To the lower right of each image is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp; the lower has the original archive number written in. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of St. Sophia. - This church, now in ruin, belongs to the mid-14th century. The plan is the Greek Cross type, with the sanctuary impinging on the cross. 479. North Elevation: 480. Section, looking east."
