Scope and Content BRF 02/01/14/011. One mounted black and white photograph of a fresco, showing a figure with chained hands with some writing to the lower right. The reverse reads "Mistra Pantanassa" and in another hand "Fresco in north ext." The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of the Pantanassa. - This church, which still belongs to a Nunnery, was completed in 1446. It is of the same unusual type as the Efenfiko and the Metropolis. It is richly decorated with frescoes, partly contemporary, partly later. 494. Photographs: exterior from north-east; exterior west-end. Fresco in narthex: the portrait is identified as that of Manuel Lascaris Chatzikis."
Notes The other photograph under this exhibition number ("exterior west-end") is missing; it might be the image depicted on BRF 02/01/14/013, however this is not mounted in the same way that the other photographs verified as being part of the exhibition are. Same image as BRF 02/01/14/12
