Further information The church of Panagia Portaitissa is a late (mid-18th century) post-Byzantine monument built by Hossios Anthimos from Kephalonia. It is named after the famous icon of Panagia Portaitissa which is kept in the Ivhron Monastery at Mount Athos. Noteworthy is the gilded wood-carved templon in the nave.
