Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Plan of temple of Phipaleia".
Notes Latest date based on the publication of the image in the 1915 SPHS accession list of slides. lmages were donated by E.S. Forster to the collection in 1915 and 1922 according to the records for the photographic library of the SPHS. Unknown publication, but the plan is signed "Walker & Boutall, s.c." probably referring to the engraver. Walker & Boutall was a photographic and print firm that operated between 1886-1900. The figure number 41 is captioned "The ground plan of the temple of Apollo at Bassae (restored)".
