Notes | Dates to the time of Hasluck's travels to Samos, Patmos, Leros, Didyma, Miletus, Priene, Scala Nuova in 1912 (BSA 18: 316); it is also mentioned in the same annual report that Hasluck travelled to 'Santorin' with members of the School. The group of Hasluck's images of Thera are listed between images of these places in the original SPHS register and were likely to have been donated to the collection at the same time. The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XB68 as "Aegean Isles: Thera, ancient high street". |
