Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Athens: Propylaea and cave from the N".
Notes A commercial image from the English Photographic Company. Latest date based on the listing in the first SPHS catalogue of the image collection in JHS for 1897, possibly identified as catalogue number Ab19. Note the mention of Miss Jane Harrison's negatives added to the collection in the 1899, p. xxxv in 'Proceedings of the Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies. Session 1898-99' The Journal of Hellenic Studies, Vol. 19 (1899), pp. xxxiii-xliv. The image is from the English Photographic Company, but donated to the SPHS by Miss Harrison.
