Notes | Date based on the publication which the image appears (fig. 17 in Arthur J. Evans, 1900/1901. "The Palace of Knossos" BSA 7:1-120). It also appears as negative number 3803 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Fresco painting. girl. BSA VII fig. 17". Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ1 and XJ2 (duplicate slides) as "Minoan: Knossos, blue boy fresco". However, this may be an incorrect association. |
