Notes | Date based on the first year of excavation at Knossos when Myres was present. The initials JLM is written on the negative indicating that the photograph may have been taken by Myres. Number 102 is written below the print may relate to numbers in the Evans archive in the Ashmolean, Oxford. It also appears as negative number 3836 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "'Twin' vases". Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Ashmolean Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Oxford University, catalogue number XJ154 and XJ155 (duplicate slides) as "M.M. Knossos: twin-vases". |
