Notes | Earliest date based on the first year of excavation at Knossos. The number 347 is printed in the lower left of the print, probably corresponding to the Evans archive in the Ashmolean, Oxford. It also appears as negative number 5239 in the J.L. Myres negative register held by the archives at the Institute of Archaeology, Oxford University. Register reads: "Knossos: General view from S. (first season) 347". |
