Possible date of 1908 when Hasluck was travelling from Manisia to the Pontus, visiting Cotyaeum [modern Kütahya], Magnesia ad Sipylum [modern Manisa], Philadelphia, Aezani [modern Çavdarhisar] and Trebizond [modern Trabzon]. Eskişehir lies in a direct line from Aezani and Kütahya towards the routes north to the coast of the Black Sea. |
