Date probably relates to the travel and research by Hasluck in 1906. See 'Annual Meeting of Subscribers' The Annual of the British School at Athens 12 (1905/1906) p. 483 and F. W. Hasluck, 'Bithynica' The Annual of the British School at Athens 13 (1906/1907), pp. 285-308. Hasluck was travelling with Mr John MacGillivary Dawkins (the younger brother of R.M. Dawkins) who may be the figure standing at the entrance to the tomb. |
