| Notes | Latest date based on mention of donations to the SPHS photographic collection in the JHS 33: 4, prior to the compilation of the 1913 catalogue of lantern slides. This image is the same as BSA SPHS 01/7189.C2087, one of the group of images Atchley donated to the SPHS in 1921. However, this negative has been cropped slightly on top, showing less sky and the quality of the images is fuzzier around the borders; C 2087 is a clearer image. The image was possibly used in the 1900 Murray handbook for travellers to Greece, opposite p. 312, in which case it's latest date would be earlier. |
