Scope and Content | Part of a group of images from the British School at Athens excavations at Rhitsona in Boeotia in 1907 and 1908. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Terra cotta from Rhitsona: an idol. (BSA. XIV.pl.7a)" Listed as a Colour Slide in the SPHS negative register (A series), but the negative is black and white. |
Notes | Date based on the excavation of Rhitsona (ancient Mycalessus) and its publication. The A series of negatives were created for colour slides produced from a colour drawings by 1913. However, the extant negatives marked in the A series are black and white. |
