| Scope and Content | Part of a group of images from the continuation of excavations in 1910-1911 at Phylakopi on the island of Melos previously conducted by the British School at Athens from 1896-1899. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Phylakopi Pottery: 141.198.83.84 Local imitation of LM I ware. Later local ware BSA xvii pl. X". |
| Notes | The mainland pottery sequences were not established at the time of Phylakopi Excavations. 'M' could stand for Mycenaean and be applied to both Cretan Minoan and Mainland Helladic pottery. |
