Scope and Content | Part of a group of images from the British School at Athens excavations at Palaikastro, Crete in the 1902-1905. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Palaikastro: bronze objects (Cf. BSA XI p.306)". |
Notes | Date based on the excavation of Palaikastro. Bronze objects may be from the temple of the Dictean Zeus, excavated in 1905. However, most of the figurines, with the exception of the complete bull, are probably from Praisos (according to Benton in the BSA 1939/1940 publication. |
