| Scope and Content | Part of the collection of images, 1924-1927, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. This particular image depicts an object from the 1925 season. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Statuette: head of terra cotta from Sparta, Acropolis (1925)". Listed as a Colour Slide in the SPHS negative register (A series), but the negative is black and white. |
